USB 3.1 (Gen 1) is the latest generation technology with (SuperSpeed), where speeds reach up to 10x faster than High-Speed USB (USB2.0), it delivers ultra-fast USB 3.1 (Gen 1) data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. Additional features include over-current protection to protect both connected devices and the hub itself from unforeseen power surges and Hot-swapping feature that allows you to connect/disconnect devices without powering down the system.
